Elizabeth C. Macomber
Vice President of Philanthropy

As the vice president of philanthropy, Elizabeth Macomber is responsible for creating and providing leadership for a comprehensive and cost-effective fundraising program. Macomber oversees annual giving, capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, special events, memorial giving, and other initiatives with a goal of attracting maximum support from Care Dimensions' constituency of individuals, businesses, foundations, and community organizations.

Prior to joining Care Dimensions in 2007, Macomber served as the executive director of the American Red Cross of Northeast Massachusetts and worked for several other non-profit organizations and colleges.

A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Macomber is vice president for education for the New England Association of Health Care Philanthropy and a member of the Beverly Rotary Club and the Essex County Development Group. She is the past president of the Beverly Community Council and the Beverly League of Women Voters, and a former board member of Health Quarters. Macomber received the Beverly Rotary Club’s 2010 Paul Harris award for outstanding service to the community.
