Make a Difference as a Hospice Volunteer! Training to Begin in February

January 10, 2017 — Care Dimensions, formerly Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, will hold training classes for those interested in becoming direct patient service volunteers for the nonprofit organization. The eight-week training program will be held on Fridays, beginning February 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, and will run through March 31.  Classes will be held at Care Dimensions’ Greater Boston office, 333 Wyman St., Suite 100, Waltham. For more information or to register, please contact Jane Corrigan, senior volunteer coordinator, at (781) 373-6574 or JCorrigan@caredimensions.org.

If working with patients and their families is not the right fit for you, there are a variety of other important ways you can contribute, such as providing administrative office support or assisting with fundraising events.  Please contact us to explore which options may match your interests.

In celebration of winning the prestigious national 2015 Circle of Life award honoring innovation in hospice and palliative care, the staff of Care Dimensions took to song "performing" (with vocal assistance from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) the iconic Circle of Life song. Enjoy!
