Mary Hickey, RN Named Clinical Manager at Care Dimensions in Greater Boston

Care Dimensions promoted Mary Hickey, RN, BSN of Franklin to clinical manager, leading the team caring for hospice patients in skilled nursing facilities and assisted-living and independent-living communities in Greater Boston.

“I have always been drawn to end-of-life care and I’m so glad to be at Care Dimensions, helping our patients who are profoundly affected by COVID. It’s a challenging time for them and their families,” Hickey says.

After receiving her B.S. Nursing degree from Boston College, Hickey worked in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and as a private-duty hospice nurse, moved to acute care at NYU Medical Center for several years and then spent the next 18 years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, the last few in management. She came to Care Dimensions in 2018 as an RN case manager.

“When I was looking to transition to hospice care, I wanted to work for Care Dimensions because it was well-known for the excellent care provided to patients and its commitment to its employees,” Hickey says.
