Care Dimensions Names New VP and Chief Human Resources Officer

DANVERS, Mass. --- Care Dimensions has named Kristine DiFiore, SHRM-CP, PHR, as the new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the non-profit hospice organization. In her new role DiFiore will be responsible for the operational and strategic initiatives of Care Dimensions' human resources and volunteer functions. Her responsibilities include recruitment and orientation; compensation and benefits; talent management and development; human resources information systems; retention and rewards; human resources policies, practices, and compliance; employee relations and communications; employee events; diversity; workplace safety and security and oversight of the volunteer program. 

With more than 15 years of HR leadership experience, DiFiore most recently served as VP of HR for Home Health Foundation in Lawrence. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a Certified Professional of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).  She serves as Program Director for the HR State Council of New Hampshire and is a member of the Greater Merrimack Valley HR Association. DiFiore is a graduate of Worcester State University and resides in Andover.

Care Dimensions, founded in 1978 as Hospice of the North Shore, has evolved from a small, all-volunteer agency to its present status as the largest hospice in Massachusetts, serving an average of nearly 800 hospice patients and 150 palliative care patients each day throughout 90 eastern Massachusetts communities.  With 500 staff and over 400 volunteers, Care Dimensions cares for people of all ages, faiths, ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic standing and is committed to helping more individuals and families access end-of-life care and receive support during one of the most challenging times in their lives.  No one is denied care because of financial status, level of insurance coverage or ability to pay and care is provided where ever a patient calls “home” – private residences, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, hospitals, group homes and veteran’s facilities or at the Kaplan Family Hospice House or new Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on the Waltham line which is slated to open this spring.
