Brian Higgins is New HR Director for Care Dimensions in Greater Boston

November 22, 2021

Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative care provider in Massachusetts, announced Brian Higgins of Marlboro joined the nonprofit’s Waltham office as the HR director for Greater Boston, responsible for recruitment, hiring, onboarding and administering employee benefits. He also will lead Care Dimensions’ diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

“Care Dimensions has a strong commitment to its employees, mission and organizational culture, as witnessed by its being named for the second time to Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare list,” says Higgins. “That foundation starts with recruitment, retention, supporting, training and promoting our staff. I’m excited to build on that momentum to position Care Dimensions an employer of choice and to support staff who are doing such critical work in the community.”

He comes to Care Dimensions after a decade of working in HR positions with increasing responsibility for the Massachusetts municipalities of Lexington, Belmont and Needham. Most recently, he served as assistant director of human resources for the Town of Andover.

Higgins received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and earned a graduate certificate from Suffolk University in local government, leadership and management.
