Care Dimensions appoints Julie Jackman to Director of Admissions

July 15, 2021

Danvers, MA – Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative care organization in Massachusetts, has appointed Julie Jackman, RN, BSN, to director of admissions. In this role, she is responsible for strategic planning and management of the 24/7 Referral Center and Admissions team.

Jackman brings nine years of experience in senior-living resident care management, hospital site nursing, group home clinical administration and hospice admissions nursing. “Working in hospice is very rewarding for me and makes me feel like I’m contributing to patients, their families and the staff that supports them every day,” she says. “I’m especially mindful of the needs of family caregivers because they do so much and can benefit from the extra support hospice can give them.”

“Julie’s experience and skills are a great addition to the referral center and admissions team,” says Patty Ramsden, VP and chief clinical officer. “She not only has worked closely with patients and families, but she has been a referral partner, so she understands everyone’s needs, the importance of great communication and seamless transitions of care, and all of the competing demands and dynamics, which is a constant balancing act.”

Jackman received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Salem State University and her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
