Annual Hospice Auction and Regatta

One of the most anticipated events of the season, Care Dimensions Annual Hospice Auction and Regatta features a gala celebration and auction and then a sailing Regatta on Sunday. The auction, which rotates between three beautiful yacht clubs in Marblehead—Boston Yacht Club, Corinthian Yacht Club and the Eastern Yacht Club—is a spectacular event featuring a dinner and live auction. The always-spirited live auction features an exciting array of exclusive travel excursions, sports items and VIP experiences.

The weekend of events continues on Sunday with the Hospice Regatta, a PHRF competitive race, and ends with an awards ceremony that evening.

23rd Annual Hospice Auction & Regatta 2017

Now in its 23rd year, the Hospice Auction and Regatta to benefit Care Dimensions has become one of the most anticipated events of the season. We gratefully acknowledge Co-chairs Jessie Morgan and John Donovan and Chair Emerita Meryl Thompson who lead a dynamic committee including Amy Berenson, Janet Collett, Barbara Day, Dana Denault, Jennifer Flanagan, Nicole Gakidis, John Hassett, Sally Hooper, Judy Jacobi, Suzanne Pirker, Louise Sharp, Dan Smith, Jane Smith, Hannah Stringer, Christopher Thompson and Bill Willis.

Hosted by the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, this year’s events began Friday, June 16th with our dinner and live auction led by award-winning auctioneer, Paul Zekos. The live auction will feature an exciting array of impressive travel excursions, sports items and VIP experiences. The weekend of events continued on Sunday, June 18th with a PHRF Regatta, and ended with and award ceremony that evening. 

We are proud to announce that this year’s signature artwork is by Marblehead artist, Charlie Allen. The original artwork entitled Perfect Summer Day will be auctioned during the live auction. Allen uses bright colors and light to tease the viewer’s senses with the heat of sunlight radiating off the waves, the buoyancy of the sailboats rocked by gentle winds and the stately presence of Abbot Hall in the distance warding over the charming village below.
