How can we help?
Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative care organization in Massachusetts, has promoted Lorraine Howlett, MSN, RN, CHPN, of Norwood, to clinical manager responsible for clinical teams supporting patients in long-term-care and assisted-living facilities in Greater Boston.
“Since 2013, Lorraine has contributed greatly to Care Dimensions by providing excellent hospice care and services to our patients and their families,” said Sherry MacKenzie, clinical director for long-term care for Greater Boston. “She is focused on supporting our patients in long-term care and assisted living and partnering with those facilities amid challenges posed by COVID health risks and restrictions.”
Prior to joining Care Dimensions, Howlett worked in hospitals as well as rehabilitation and long-term care settings as a nurse manager and staff nurse.
A Norwood resident, Howlett holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern New Hampshire University and she is working on a Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, the American Society of Pain Management Nurses, the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International.
