Registration Now Open for 39th Annual Walk for Hospice

Care Dimensions, a nonprofit bringing expert, compassionate care to patients and families across eastern Massachusetts, is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 39th Annual Walk for Hospice, taking place at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 27, 2026, on the campus of St. John's Prep in Danvers. Walkers can sign up at CareDimensions.org/Walk.

For nearly four decades, the Walk for Hospice has brought people together to remember loved ones, celebrate special caregivers, and inspire support for compassionate hospice care.

"The Walk for Hospice has always been about more than raising funds,” said Heather Johnston, Vice President & Chief Development Officer at Care Dimensions. “It's a gathering of people who deeply understand what it means to face a serious illness with the support of a caring team. Seeing new faces alongside those who return year after year to honor a loved one – that's what makes this event so special."

Funds from the Walk support programs like grief support, improvements to hospice houses, and other services that benefit patients and their families.

Walkers are encouraged to form teams, join existing ones, or attend solo. No matter who you are there with, you'll be among a larger community of caring, compassionate individuals.

This is a family-friendly and dog-friendly event. Before walkers step off, there will be activities and refreshments, as well as music and brief remarks.

Care Dimensions was founded as a nonprofit organization in 1978. It serves more than 2,000 patients and families on any given day through a range of services, including hospice, palliative care, in-home primary care, and comprehensive dementia support for patients and caregivers.
