How can we help?
Care Dimensions encourages and facilitates an environment of professional growth to support both our mission and individual employee needs.
Our Education and Human Resources departments provide new hire orientation and continued professional learning opportunities that help promote a high quality/ high performance culture.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of various internal and external training and certification programs. We provide ongoing preceptor and mentoring opportunities, as well as in-service training programs that enable employees to earn required CEUs.
Providing the highest quality hospice and palliative care takes clinical skill and expertise, that’s why we place a strong emphasis on achieving hospice and palliative care certification. Care Dimensions has been named the 2021 Employer of the Year by the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center. Physicians, nurse practitioners and registered nurses are required to obtain their certification; social workers and hospice aides are encouraged to do so. We offer multiple preparation classes and support staff in obtaining this certification. Our high level of certified clinical staff is one of the things that sets our program and staff above others and helps us provide the best quality of care to patients and their families.
We have tuition reimbursement for both full- and part-time employees for job-related degree programs. We also award up to six scholarships yearly.
Our preferred partnership with Regis College gives Care Dimensions employees access to discounted graduate programs with flexible formats designed for working students. Download the flyer for more information.

In 2015, Care Dimensions launched a nurse residency program to introduce nurses to the field of hospice and palliative care. Developed in partnership with Regis College’s Nursing Program, this innovative hands-on training program is offered to RNs with a minimum of two years of experience and who are new to the field of hospice and palliative care. Initially funded in part through a Massachusetts Healthcare Workforce Transformation Fund Training Grant, the program helps nurses develop their hospice expertise through a combination of didactic training and a controlled case load of patients.
Our Hospice Aide Career Ladder consists of four levels (1, 2, Preceptor and Senior Aide) that encourage advancement and reward our certified nursing assistants for their expertise. It offers aides the ability to develop new skills, mentor other staff, serve on company-wide committees and help the company test new technology or systems.
Care Dimensions is dedicated to educating the next generation of physicians, nurses, social workers and spiritual counselors. As a clinical training site for the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship, Care Dimensions is proud to provide education, mentoring and in-depth experience with the full hospice indisciplinary care team to 12 physician fellows every year. Additionally, we provide valuable experience for nursing students and interns in social work, music therapy and child life.
