Care Dimensions Annual Appeal

Posted on December 2, 2022 by Dr. Stephanie Patel, President & CEO

For many of our families who care for loved ones faced with life-limiting illnesses, Care Dimensions provides comfort, support, and compassionate care to help make the good days even better. For Joanne Hogan and her loved ones, this meant quality time spent together as a family.

After Joanne was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer last year, her family called Care Dimensions for help and guidance. They quickly appreciated the essential in-home supports provided by the hospice team, for both her well-being and their peace of mind.

You can help us keep providing those better days by supporting the work of our expert, compassionate providers of hospice and palliative care. Your gift ensures that all families like Joanne’s will benefit from the extra care and support when they need it most.

Please make your gift today to make certain the best hospice and palliative care is always there for our families, friends and neighbors.

“Her hospice nurse and aide were right there when we needed them, compassionate and strong, providing the care she needed to be comfortable. In our hardest times, our hospice team became friends who supported and cared for us, being compassionate and present. I wouldn’t have had it any other way,” said Joanne’s daughter, Rebecca Anderson.

In late October, as Joanne’s cancer symptoms escalated, the decision was made to move her to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, where her family could stay by her side and the staff could stabilize her symptoms and care for her around the clock.

“The Kaplan House provided the care we all needed in such a peaceful environment. My mother’s wish was to be with her family and Kaplan House allowed us to remain by her side,” Rebecca said.

As we look back on over four decades of caring for the community, we see how important and impactful our care has been for the thousands of patients and families we have served. As individuals embark on their end-of-life journey, Care Dimensions is there for them every step of the way. They do not have to travel this road alone. Many good days begin when the Care Dimensions hospice team arrives to care for patients and families when they need it the most.

Care Dimensions strives to improve the quality of life for patients and their families with exceptional support services and complementary therapies, trained volunteers, and grief and bereavement support – services made possible by your essential donations.

Care Dimensions is committed to providing the very best end-of-life care. Your generosity can help make the good days even better for all our patients and families.

Please donate now to support those counting on your generosity and kindness.
