Speakers Bureau

Committed to broadening its reach and ensuring that all who need such care have access, Care Dimensions provides the community with workshops through its Speakers Bureau. Our speakers deliver presentations, free of charge, to a variety of audiences who seek information on the various aspects of end-of-life care, grieving, advance care planning and other related topics.

We tailor our presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of any group. Care Dimensions' community educators have addressed a variety of audiences:

• Civic clubs
• Professional associations
• Businesses
• Faith communities
• Public libraries
• Senior centers
• Housing authorities or associations

Our presentations usually range from 30-minute talks to 90-minute workshops.  Topics cover:

• Hospice
• Palliative care
• Grief and loss
• Planning for care at end of life
• Advanced care planning (health care proxy, etc.)
• Living with a serious illness
• Caregiver support
• Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
