Seeing is Believing: Facilities Manager Supports Walk for Hospice
Posted on September 24, 2020 by Rebecca Brackett

Every day he has gone to work over the past four years, Stephen Freni has witnessed the power of hospice.
As Facilities Manager with Zampell, Freni oversees building and grounds maintenance at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers and the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. Being on-site at these two revered inpatient hospice facilities has given him much to see, absorb, and appreciate.
“I see the service that the Care Dimensions clinical teams provide to their patients, and it is second to none,” Freni says. “Their hearts are in their work, which has inspired me to support Care Dimensions through the Walk for Hospice.”
For the past three years, Freni has organized Team Zampell, which has raised thousands of dollars for Care Dimensions’ Walk for Hospice. “It makes me feel good being a part of something that helps raise money for a much-needed, quality service that I believe in,” Freni says.
Team Zampell grew out of the family-owned business’ partnership with Care Dimensions, which started in 1999. The company has sponsored the Walk for Hospice for eight years.
“When you have a great family-owned business like Zampell working with a great organization like Care Dimensions, it’s a winning combination,” Freni says. “We look forward to continuing this strong relationship that benefits the community.”
