Care Dimensions recognizes Salisbury hospice aide
Care Dimensions recognized all of its hospice aides, which included Caroline Coolen, of Salisbury, during the 41st annual celebration of National Assistant Nursing Week. “Our Hospice Aides are the women and men who are the most local translators of our mission. Humanity and compassion are the everyday companions of their days. They do not judge their patients, they simply find what’s at the core of human dignity and help it shine out,” said Patricia Ahern, Care Dimensions president and CEO.
Care Dimensions is the largest hospice and palliative care provider to adults and children in Massachusetts. As a nonprofit, community-based leader in advanced illness care, Care Dimensions provides comprehensive hospice, palliative care, grief support and teaching programs in more than 90 communities in Eastern Massachusetts. Care Dimensions was founded in 1978 as Hospice of the North Shore and cares for patients wherever they live – in their homes, in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities, in hospitals, or at two inpatient hospice facilities: the Care Dimension Hospice House in Lincoln and the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
