Care Dimensions Honors Community Members Who Have Improved the Lives of U.S. Military Veterans

Danvers--On November 13, Care Dimensions hosted its We Honor Veterans Awards Ceremony to recognize community members who have shown commitment to improving the lives of veterans in the 95 communities in which Care Dimensions serves.  

Care Dimensions has joined together with the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) to participate in the We Honor Veterans Program aimed at improving access and providing the highest quality end-of-life care for veterans.

The 2019 honorees are Susan Campbell and Bernadette Forti of Lynn; Charlie Ciaramitaro of South Hamilton; Lisa Lord of Melrose; Gordon Shepard of Saugus; and William Shuttleworth of Newburyport.  

From among the nominations received, there were 10 honorable mentions:  Douglas Bryant of Middleton; John Cuddy of Dracut; Gerald Libby of Melrose; Cheryl Lussier Poppe of Salem; Susan Magnor of North Reading; Jason McCuish and Kenneth Oswald of Lynn; George Richard Poole of Woburn; William Tracy of Marblehead and David Viera of Seekonk.
