Grief Beats ~ A free music workshop for teens who have experienced the death of someone close
February 3, 2017 — Sometimes words alone are not enough to express what it’s like to have someone in your life die. Care Dimensions will hold Grief Beats, a free musical workshop for teens who have experienced the death of someone close on Thursday, February 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Wheelock College’s Earl Center, 180 The Riverway in Boston. In this workshop teens will have a chance to create some of their own music to help them express themselves in a creative and supportive space and join other teens to learn to use music in many different ways. A complimentary dinner will be served. This program is made possible through a Grief Reach grant from the New York Life Foundation. Advanced registration is required.
