How can we help?
Care Dimensions is proud to announce that Mary Crowe, Director of Professional and Community Education, has been selected as a Memory Care Innovation Award winner by WTWH Healthcare. The award recognizes passionate leaders who are defining the future of cognitive care delivery across healthcare industries.
Mary was honored in the “Hospice & Palliative Care” category, one of only three recipients nationally in this specialty. The recognition highlights her four-decade commitment to advancing dementia care through innovative education and compassionate advocacy.
Mary's Notable Achievements Include:
"Mary embodies the innovative spirit and compassionate leadership this award seeks to recognize," said Stephanie Patel, MD, President & CEO of Care Dimensions. "Her ability to translate complex clinical knowledge into engaging, practical education has transformed how our organization approaches dementia care. She doesn't just teach about person-centered care – she models it in every interaction, ensuring that families feel supported and healthcare professionals feel empowered to provide the highest quality care."
“The Memory Care Innovation Award winners exemplify what it means to push the field forward,” said Tim Mullaney, Vice President and editorial director of WTWH Healthcare. “Each honoree has demonstrated not only a profound commitment to improving quality of life for those living with memory-related conditions, but also a forward-looking vision for how care can evolve. Their work inspires hope and sets a higher standard for excellence.”
As the largest hospice and palliative care provider in Massachusetts, Care Dimensions serves patients with dementia across all stages of their journey. Mary's recognition comes as the organization continues to expand those services, including through its Dementia GUIDE program, launched in 2024, which enhances support for patients and their families.
Care Dimensions is also pursuing a Memory Care Seal of Excellence from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, a certification that will train clinical staff on global standards of excellence in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care. Mary will be a key leader in this initiative, leveraging her expertise to ensure staff meet the highest professional standards.
